Josh Blake was born in the blue collar city of Detroit. He took to writing, young, remembering journal time as one of the best times of the day in school. Many times his vivid imagination and conversations overheard were motivations to write and present “tall tales” to his classmates. Everywhere he went, there was a notebook nearby.
Years passed, and as the dream of playing basketball began to fade the realization that writing could be a viable plan B, began to resonate. After receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, the writing career path became more visible and the most logical choice.
Josh Blake’s first novel, The Mayor’s Men, is currently available and a plethora of novels are expected in the future.
